FirkinStein Brewing Ginger Root Marinated Crispy Tofu

Ingredients:
- 250 gm extra firm tofu
- 473 ml FirkinStein Ginger Root Ale
- 1 tbsp Maggi seasoning
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional:
- Rice
- Steamed peas
- Green onions, sliced
Instructions:
- Cut tofu into ¼ inch cubes.
- In a large bowl, mix 473 ml FirkinStein Ginger Root Ale, 1 tbsp Maggi seasoning, 1 tbsp sesame oil, and 1 tbsp hoisin sauce.
- Add tofu to mixture and let marinade for up to 40 minutes.
- Remove tofu from marinade.
- Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in non stick pan on high.
- Add tofu and fry on each side for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Continue flipping tofu until brown and crispy all over.
- Serve with a side of rice, sliced green onions, and steamed peas.
- Enjoy!
