Backstage Off the Hop Golden Ale Chicken Souvlaki Skewers
Serving 4 | Prep time 30 minutes | Total time 24 hours
Ingredients:
- Marinade
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp minced rosemary
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt and pepper
- 1 cup olive oil
- ½ cup Backstage Off the Hop Golden Ale
- 1 juiced lemon
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 cubed chicken breasts
Skewers:
- 8 soaked bamboo skewers
- 1 cubed red onion
- 1 cubed red pepper
- 1 cubed yellow pepper
- 1 cubed orange pepper
Serving Suggestions:
- Pita
- Tzatziki
- Olives
- Tomatoes
- Feta
Pairing Suggestion – Backstage Night Moves Pale Ale
Instructions:
- Combine 4 minced garlic cloves, 2 tbsp dried oregano, 2 tbsp rosemary, 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 cup olive oil, ½ cup Backstage Off the Hop Golden Ale, juice of 1 lemon, 1 bay leaf, and mix. Add 4 cubed chicken breast and marinate for 2 - 24 hours
- Preheat BBQ to medium
- Assemble the skewers by alternating marinated chicken, red onion, and peppers
- Grill skewers 3 - 5 minutes per side until cooked through and charred. Chicken should have an internal temperature of 170 F or 75 C
