Annapolis Brewing Company Court House Coffee Vanilla Stout Sugar Chocolate Truffles
Serving 20 pieces | Prep time 25 minutes | Total time 12 hours
Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw or demerara sugar
- 4 tbsp Annapolis Brewing Company Court House Coffee Vanilla Stout
- 225 gm semi-sweet chocolate
- 100 gm milk chocolate
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 1 cup whipping cream
Pairing Suggestion – King George Porter
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to lowest temperature
- Mix 1 cup raw or demerara sugar with 3 tbsp Annapolis Brewing Company Court House Coffee Vanilla Stout.
- Spread out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let dry in oven for up to 12 hours, or as long as it takes for the beer sugar to feel like dry sugar again
- Place 1 tbsp Annapolis Brewing Company Court House Coffee Vanilla Stout, ½ tsp vanilla, 225 gm semi sweet chocolate, and 100 gm milk chocolate in a bowl
- Heat 1 cup whipping cream on stovetop to a simmer in a saucepan. Pour hot cream over chocolate and whisk together to form smooth mixture
- Chill for at least 2 hours or until firm enough to roll into balls.
- Scoop out a teaspoon of mixture at a time and roll into balls, then roll into beer sugar. Place on parchment paper and chill until firm
