RECIPE: Yorkshire Puddings

Serving 12 puddings | Prep time 10 mins | Total time 35 mins

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil or beef drippings


Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Divide vegetable oil evenly among 12 cup muffin tin and place in oven to heat for 10 minutes
  • Mix 4 eggs, 1 cup whole milk, 1 cup flour, 1 tsp salt in a large bowl
  • Remove hot muffin tin from oven. Divide the batter evenly among muffin cups. Make sure not to fill past ¾ as expansion beyond the rim on the cups will occur
  • Place back in oven and cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Then reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook an additional 15 minutes or until puddings are golden brown
  • Serve with a turkey or roast beef dinner and cover in gravy
